WordPress hat die neueste Version seines Website-Builders Gutenberg veröffentlicht und zahlreiche Funktionen eingeführt, die das Erstellen von Websites mit mehr Kontrolle über das Layout erleichtern.
Version 16.9 von Gutenberg fügt inkrementelle Verbesserungen hinzu, die zusammen einen benutzerfreundlicheren Site-Editor ergeben.
WordPress Gutenberg 16.9
Gutenberg ist der WordPress-Website-Editor der nächsten Generation, der auf dem Konzept basiert, es jedem einfach zu machen, eine Website zu erstellen, ohne dass Programmierkenntnisse erforderlich sind.
Es verwendet die visuelle Metapher von Blöcken zum Erstellen einer Webseite, was zu einem Prozess des Hinzufügens von Blöcken wird, die die verschiedenen Teile einer Webseite darstellen.
Neben einzelnen Bausteinen zum Erstellen einer Webseite bietet Gutenberg auch Muster an, bei denen es sich um komplette Webseiten-Layouts aus Blöcken handelt.
Muster bieten Benutzern einen Ausgangspunkt, der nur noch angepasst werden muss, und beschleunigen die Website-Entwicklung.
Gutenberg befindet sich derzeit in der zweiten Phase eines dreistufigen Entwicklungsplans, der sich auf die Perfektionierung der gesamten Website-Bearbeitung im Rahmen des Website-Erstellungsprozesses konzentriert.
Version 16.9 bietet Verbesserungen an den folgenden Bearbeitungs- und Erstellungsprozessen für Websites:
- Fast alle Blöcke können umbenannt werden
- Muster können jetzt dupliziert und einfacher umbenannt werden
- Musterkategorien können innerhalb der Benutzeroberfläche umbenannt oder gelöscht werden
- Für Audio- und Videomedien gibt es neue Kategorien, die die Organisation erleichtern.
Laut WordPress erlaubt es „zur besseren Organisation kuratierter Muster.“ - Die Menüauswahl im Dimensionstool wurde neu organisiert, sodass die Einstellung der Bildabmessungen (Höhe, Breite, Seitenverhältnis) intuitiver ist.
- Neue CSS-Funktion für ansichtsfensterrelative Einheiten (bedeutet, dass die Größe eines Blocks relativ zum Browserfenster ist)
- Plus viele weitere Funktionen, die den Website-Bearbeitungsprozess verbessern
Benennen Sie (fast) alle Blöcke um
Die Umbenennungsfunktion erleichtert die Entwicklung einer Website, da Benutzer Blöcke jetzt mit Wörtern benennen können, die für den Kontext sinnvoll sind.
Dies vereinfacht die Site-Erstellung, da Blöcke aussagekräftige Namen haben können.
Dies ist besonders nützlich für Theme-Entwickler, die Blöcken auch aussagekräftige Namen geben können.
Die einzigen Blöcke, die nicht umbenannt werden können, sind vier Blöcke, die ein Site-weites Designelement oder ein Platzhalter sind:
- Kern/Block
Kern/Vorlagenteil
Kern/Muster
Kern/Navigation
Umbenennen und Duplizieren von Mustern
Es war bereits möglich, ein Muster (ein vorgefertigtes Webseitenlayout) umzubenennen.
Ein Benutzer müsste jedoch den Musterbearbeitungsbildschirm verlassen und dann auf einen anderen Bildschirm klicken, um das Muster umzubenennen.
Diese Änderung erleichtert das Umbenennen eines Musters direkt im Musterbearbeitungsbildschirm und rationalisiert so den Designprozess.
Die Mustervervielfältigung stellt eine ähnliche Verbesserung des Arbeitsablaufs dar.
Unterstützung für Ansichtsfenster-relative Einheiten
Dies bietet Designern mehr Möglichkeiten zum Erstellen besserer Layouts, die in Ansichtsfenstern unterschiedlicher Größe (sichtbarer Teil einer Webseite im Browser) gut aussehen.
